Grand Rapids, Mich. – Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids welcomes six new board members to the 22-member Board of Directors. The six elected members include Cindy Brown, Scott Chaudoir, John Irwin, Marti Lolli, Scott MacGregor, and Michael Rotelle.
The 2016/17 Board year will begin September 1st. Members will serve a three-year term under the direction of Board Chair, Wade McConnell of Schnelker, Rassi,& McConnell.
Board Member Backgrounds
Brown has spent the past five years as the Executive Director at Hello West Michigan. She is familiar with the non-profit sector, as she has also served as the Vice President for Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Board of Directors. Her interest in regional talent development makes her a great asset to the Board of Directors.
A familiar face to Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids, Lacks Corporate Controller, Chaudoir, will join the Board after a year serving on the Goodwill Finance Committee. Lacks Enterprises was the recipient of the Legacy Award at the 2015 Goodwill Awards.
President of the West Michigan Region Huntington Bank, Irwin, is an active community advocate and serves on eight boards in the Greater Grand Rapids area including the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce. His knowledge in finance and retail banking is welcomed.
In the past eight years, Lolli has accelerated at Priority Health from Consumer Product Manager to Senior Vice President of Commercial Markets.She serves on several non-profit boards in the Grand Rapids community.
MacGregor, President ofTrackCore Inc.,served as Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids Board Chair (2012-2013) and has previously served on Goodwill’s Finance Committee. Additionally, he is acting Foundation Secretary for Goodwill.
Rotelle made the move to Grand Rapids almost three years ago when he accepted the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Meijer. His knowledge of human resources makes him a good fit for Goodwill’s mission in providing job training and placement services.
